My Backpack Essentials- What I Keep in my Backpack to Survive Classes!
Hey Everyone!
First I am going to get into what is in the elastic pocket on the front. This is usually where I stick my keys and phone during class, I also usually put my phone in this pocket, hats and gloves in the winter time, and random things I want to have easy access too. I also just found a dove chocolate wrapper, some fruit snacks, crumbs and a binder clip (pretty crazy, I know!).
Next, let's take a look at what is in this pocket. I usually try to keep a blue pen, mechanical pencil, highlighter, a flash drive, chapstick gum, headphones which I cannot go a day without, and cough drops. I can get into what kind of school supplies I use in another post if you would like, but for the sake of the length of this post I am not going to do that today. I also just found some other pens and pencils, lots of bobby pins (I use those things like all the time..) paper clips, binder clips, some post-it tabs, some cold medicine from when I was sick like all the time last semester, and lots of gum wrappers.
Next, let's take a look at what I keep in the next pocket. In this picture it is not loaded like it normally would be, sorry. In this pocket I usually keep: deodorant (sometimes ya need it haha), different colored pens, oil blotting sheets, an extra pair of sunglasses, some extra contacts, a non-graphing calculator, some extra mechanical pencil lead, some headbands and hair ties incase I want to put my hair up, some flash cards in a cute case, a packet of SPARK (a drink I drink in the mornings incase I am running late so that I can mix it with a bottle of water and go- caffeine headaches are killer!), some Ibprofen and migraine medicine, some of my dairy digestive supplement (because I am lactose intolerant so that I can eat products with milk in it), some perfume, feminine products (liners and tampons), sticky notes (I am so scatter brained that this is how I stay organized), snacks (I usually have a protein bar or granola bar, some cheez-its or goldfish, something sweet like chocolate (sometimes I do not have time to eat before class or have to skip lunch and let's face it, if I do I am not a pleasant individual to deal with, and I like to have options when I need a snack) I usually also grab mini muffins on my early days and they either go in here or the elastic pouch in the front. This is also the pocket I will throw my phone and laptop charger in if I know it is going to be a long day, or my beats headphones if I know I am going to be studying for a while. Depending on how much I have in my bag for the day, sometimes my planner goes here, and sometimes it goes into the next pocket I am going to talk about.
Lastly, let's move on into what I keep in the main pocket of my bag on a typical day. I usually have my laptop in the laptop sleeve- I have a Surface Pro and love it. It is in a case so I just use the built in padded sleeve. If you want a review on my laptop, let me know and I can do one. I also have my planner depending on the day and how full my bag is, and my materials for class. For some classes I just take a notebook, folder and my laptop, some I take a textbook and notebook with built in folders, it truly depends on how the class is and the materials needed for it. I can also do a post about how I organize my materials for class if you would like, let me know.
I also always have a bottle of water in one of the side pockets made for cups on my backpack, the other side usually has either my blender bottle I make my spark in in the morning, a soda of some type if I know I am going to need a pick me up, or an umbrella if there's a chance for rain. Sometimes I just stick with a bottle of water and leave my umbrella in my backpack, it is also blue so it matches (no worries!). And then I always have my keys, which also have my student ID and a little bit of cash on them, and then my phone.
So yeah, that is a look at what is in my backpack, nothing too crazy but I definitely realized that I need to clean out and reorganize my bag again before next semester starts, so I think I am going to do that. I hope you enjoyed taking a look in my bag, and maybe came up with something to add to yours! Am I missing something major? If so, be sure to let me know- and I'll talk to you in my next post!
Today I thought I would talk to you about what I keep in my backpack to survive the school day. For those of you who do not know, I am a college student, who lives on campus and walks to all of my classes. Some days, I do not have time to go back to my room as often as I would like to, but throughout the last semester I have learned exactly how I like my back pack to be organized and the things that I like to keep in my backpack to make my days in class just a little bit brighter. I love these posts because you never really get to look through someone's backpack randomly. Also, in the pictures I have, not everything is in my backpack because I was home for break when I took the pictures, but if you would like to see an updated post later on this semester I can take more pictures. So, let's jump into what's in my backpack.
About my Bag
I have a Northface Recon, and I love it! You can check out this backpack here. I am not going to review the bag in this post, but if you would like to see a backpack review post, let me know. I also have an Under Amour backpack that I could review as well. But this post focuses on what I keep in my bag, so I am actually going to go through my bag which I currently have in front of me and clean it out and tell you what I keep inside!
